The first part of this tour consists on a 2 ½-hour boat ride along the stretch of the Tempisque River that crosses Palo Verde National Park. From the boat you will be able to spot a fabulous array of wild birds. After, you will visit Guaitil Village, the heart of the Chorotega aboriginal culture; here you will visit one of the local workshops, where your guide will explain how the famous ceramic pieces of the region are made.
