Tamarindo Mangrove

Introduction

This Tamarindo tour allows you to navigate through the wonders of the mangrove ecosystem. You will float along the calm mangrove waters under a verdant forest canopy.

Tamarindo Wildlife Refuge protects a large estuary, mangrove forest and tropical dry forest in an area covering almost 500 hectares.

A small and slightly boat will take you through narrow canals where you will be able to observe abundant wildlife, including birds and monkeys, while learning about the unique ecosystem of the mangrove forest. The guides are enthusiastic and knowledgeable of the nature within the area.
